ABOUT US

Waitakere foot podiatry is a sports and general podiatry clinic in West Auckland. The practice is located conveniently in Te Atatu Peninsula in a multidisciplinary clinic to provide advanced foot care for people who live and work in West Auckland. We work closely with a team of other health care providers including physiotherapist, acupuncturist and a massage therapist.

Kiseon Hong – Principle Podiatrist

Kiseon completed his podiatry degree in 2006 from AUT University in Auckland, and is currently completing a Postgraduate diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine through Otago University. He is a NZ registered podiatrist.

Kiseon has experience in many fields including general, sports, and diabetes. He is currently involved in a foot screening program for diabetic patients in the North Shore with the Primary Health Organisation. He takes 3rd year podiatry students for their clinical placement to provide clinical education.

He has passion for foot health especially in biomechanics/sports injuries and diabetes. He also is very experienced in nail surgeries.
 

Chris Haughey - Podiatrist (BHSc Podiatry)

Chris studied at AUT University for three years to complete a Bachelor of Health Sciences major in Podiatry, graduating in 2009. Chris enjoys his sports folllowing most sports from around the world,particularly Cricket, Football and Rugby League, and it was from this passion he developed an interest in Biomechanics and Sporting Injury.

"I am now interested in broadening my knowledge of all areas of podiatry and am fortunate enough to work in a clinic with a vast client base that has allowed me to become more experienced within all fields of podiatry from peadiatrics to nail care."

Justina Sellers - Podiatrist (BHSc Podiatry)

Justiina Sellers trained at Auckland University of Technology and gained a bachelor of health science specialising in podiatry in 2010. She has experience in the field of diabetes, sports medicine and general practice. Some of her interests include sporting injuries and diabetic education and management.

She also is an enthusiatic sports person and currently compete on the world stage in olympic windsurfing.
